Minor 2-5-1 Progression

#BASSNATION In this week’s lesson I’ll be covering the 2-5-1 in the key of A Minor. The A natural minor is the relative minor of C major, so there will be no sharps are flats in this progression. We’ll go from 2 (B) to the 5 (E) and back to the root note (A). I’ll be covering the chord changes as well as the progression.   1. Hi, Daric. I don’t understand one thing. When I play 2-5-1 progression in the key of A minor (natural) I use Locrian mode for Bmin7b5 (or 2), Phrygian mode for Emin7 (or 5), Aeolian mode for Amin7 (or 1). If we play in the key of A minor (harmonic), which mode should I use for 5 (or E7)? Thanks!
